However, considering all of the features such as the Lawn-Boy’s Tru-Start commitment, it may be the right choice for you.

Priced around $300, the budget-friendly lawn mower features a rear-wheel drive system. RWD mowing machines come in handy when dealing with moderate slopes. They generally have good traction on hills. If you have ½ acre to mow, a lawn mower with self-propel mechanism will allow you to get the job done quickly with minimum effort on your part. Riding mower is overkill for half an acre. In addition to this, mowing the lawn with a rider does not count as exercise, something that may be important for you.

The Lawn Boy rotary walk behind has a self-propel drive bar. Featuring variable speed feature, the speed is controllable by how much you depress the bar. Squeeze the bar to provide tension to the transmission belt. There is an adjustable self-propel drive cable that runs down the left-hand side of the mower. You can adjust the cable by loosening the cable support nut on the handle and pull down the cable jacket. Then tighten the nut on the cable support.
